A bar of Marseille soap scented with Feuille de Figuier: fruity and green, like a walk under Provençal fig trees, with soft floral and woody notes. The soap comes in a raspberry red box and goes with the other scents from the same range.
Fer à Cheval has been making soap in Marseille since 1856, using the traditional method with vegetable oils. The soap cleans gently and leaves skin feeling soft, for hands and body.
Lather the bar on damp skin and rinse; keep away from the eyes. Let it dry on a soap dish between uses and it will last longer. In its sturdy coloured box it also makes a lovely small gift. The bar is firm and compact, and fits nicely on the edge of a washbasin or by the kitchen tap.
