A magnet shaped like a yakitori skewer, with grilled pieces of chicken on a wooden stick. Use it to hang a recipe, a receipt or an invitation on the fridge. It is so realistic that it almost makes you hungry. It also works well on a metal kitchen cabinet or a whiteboard.
The magnet is made of plastic and painted with great attention to detail, including the shine of the sauce and the grill marks. It measures about 6 by 6 cm and holds well on any metal surface. A dry cloth keeps it clean.
Japanese brand Midori, known for its notebooks and paper goods, makes these miniatures as a nod to Japanese food culture. Pair it with the onigiri magnet, or add it to a cookbook as a little extra.
