A large chopping board of 25 by 38 cm for the real prep work: a stew full of vegetables, a chicken in pieces or a pile of herbs for salsa verde. There is enough room to keep cut and uncut pieces side by side. The dark green colour lets you set it aside for vegetables, for example.
The board is made of polyethylene, hygienic, light and dishwasher safe. It is 2 cm thick, doesn't slide around and is kind to your knives. After cutting beetroot or turmeric, rinse the board straight away so no stains remain.
Hay's Slice range brings colour to an everyday kitchen item. Combine the dark green with a red or lime board and you have a practical set that looks good too. A board this size also makes a nice base for bread on the table.
