A medium chopping board of 20 by 30 cm for an onion, a few tomatoes, breakfast fruit or a piece of cheese. Thanks to the bright red colour you can reserve it for raw meat, so you always know which board is for what. It is light and fits easily in the sink.
The board is made of polyethylene, a hygienic material that is kind to your knives and dishwasher safe. It is 2 cm thick and stays put while you cut. Avoid serrated knives where you can, so the surface stays smooth.
Hay makes the Slice boards in various colours and sizes. Hang a few side by side on the wall or stand them upright against the backsplash, and they become a splash of colour in the kitchen too.
