A bottle for olive oil or balsamic vinegar, for the counter or the table next to the bread. The tall, slim shape takes up little room, so it easily fits between other bottles and jars.
The opal glaze gives the white clay a soft light blue colour with a slightly milky depth. It shines at the top, while the clay stays matt at the bottom. Because the colour is so light, you can put it next to coloured ceramics without it getting busy.
Ann Berger throws the bottles by hand in her studio AB Ceramics in Antwerp, so the shape varies slightly each time. Fill it with a good balsamic for a salad or with oil for dipping bread. It is dishwasher safe. Place it next to the wider bottle in the same colour, and you have one for oil and one for vinegar.
