A generous 38 cm serving bowl in a vivid orange, for a colourful salad, a dish of risotto, a tray of roasted pumpkin or a pile of cherries in summer. It is 6 cm deep, enough for a dish with some sauce. At a party with lots of guests, it holds everything that is shared.
Empty, the bowl is a striking design piece on a dining table, kitchen island or sideboard. The bright orange works well in a calm, white or wooden interior, where it immediately draws attention. Fill it with apples or mandarins in winter, and the colour becomes even more intense. The bowl is made of deeply glazed porcelain, sturdy and smooth, with a rounded, timeless shape. The glaze makes the surface easy to keep clean. Wash it by hand or carefully in the dishwasher, and avoid scouring pads so the shine stays beautiful.
Danish label Matias Moellenbach designs glass and porcelain in which simple shapes and bold colours come together. The Big O collection comes in several colours. Pair the orange bowl with Blue Haze, or set it with simple white tableware for one strong accent of colour.
