A dinner candle in walnut, a warm light brown reminiscent of caramel and wood. It looks lovely in a brass or wooden candlestick and brings warmth to a table with linen and earthenware.
Broste Copenhagen colours the Rustic candles all the way through, so the colour lasts to the very end. The slightly rough surface gives the candle a handmade look and catches the light, even when it is not lit. In walnut that gives a soft, almost waxy sheen.
The warm brown goes with green, terracotta and ochre, and with black and dark grey it makes an autumnal row. Place a few candles in different colours from the range side by side for a table with depth. Burn the candle away from draughts so the flame stays calm and it drips less.
