A serving spoon with a polished steel bowl, for serving vegetables, rice, couscous or a stew. The bowl is big enough for a generous portion in one go, so the dish can go round quickly. In the kitchen too, for stirring or tasting, it sits nicely in the hand.
The handle is dark blue, a deep shade that goes well with white porcelain and wooden boards. EME from Italy makes the Brio range sturdy and pleasant to use, with a handle that is slightly thicker than classic cutlery and so gives a good grip.
Place it next to the matching serving fork by a dish of lasagne, or in a big salad bowl on a summer table. If you like to mix colours, combine it with a spoon in yellow or green from the same range. After use it can simply go in the dishwasher.
