A colourful tealight holder that catches the eye, even when the candle is not lit. Evi by Fabric Fabrik has a playful, rounded triangular shape in grey with a stone look: two layers joined by metal studs, with room for a standard tealight in the middle.
The design is by Ann Adriaens, who came up with it in the 1990s while experimenting with samples. Her daughter Katrijn Respeel, founder of the Ghent design studio Fabric Fabrik, now reissues it as a tribute to her mother. Every holder is handmade in Ghent.
The grey stone look is understated and suits any interior, from minimal to cosy. Place it on the dining table, the coffee table, a bookshelf or the windowsill, or combine a few colours from the range for a playful look. Even during the day, without a candle, it remains a lovely little object.
A small gift for anyone who loves design and colour, or simply a treat for yourself. Never leave a burning tealight unattended and place the holder on a stable surface.
