HAY's colourful take on a kitchen classic: the Hay French Press Coffee Maker in Aqua is a cafetière you will happily put on the table. Add coarsely ground coffee to the jug, pour hot water over it, let it steep for a few minutes and slowly press the plunger down. The result is a full, aromatic coffee, and it works just as well for loose-leaf tea.
The jug is made of borosilicate glass in a clear aqua shade, with parts in stainless steel and silicone. The lid and knob come in contrasting colours, making the aqua French press a decorative piece on the worktop. Rinse the filter briefly after use so no coffee grounds are left behind.
HAY stands for everyday objects with a fresh, graphic choice of colour. Put the aqua coffee maker on the table at breakfast, during brunch or after dessert, so everyone can top up their own cup. A lovely gift for coffee lovers, and a nice addition to colourful tableware or a wooden kitchen table.
