A large 33 cm round serving dish for a salad for six, an oven dish of roasted vegetables or pasta placed in the middle of the table. It is 8 cm deep, so a generous portion of risotto or stew fits too. Empty, it is a nice piece to leave on a sideboard.
The dish is made of stoneware with the Sunflower glaze, a warm sunflower yellow on an earthy base. The layered glaze recalls a rugged coastline and differs on every piece. After the meal it goes into the dishwasher, and it can handle the microwave too.
HK Living makes the 70s Ceramics collection by hand, so small differences in colour and texture are part of it. Combine Sunflower with other glazes from the range for a lively table.
