HK Living Nienke Sikkema Vase Peridot H34

A green glass vase shaped like an enlarged gemstone. Put a few long branches in it, a bunch from the garden or some large flowers, and the glass makes every bouquet special. Even empty, the vase comes fully into its own as a sculpture on a table, a sideboard or a windowsill. Thanks to its soft facets and sharper lines, it catches the light differently every time, so it looks different from every angle.

The vase is made of thick glass in the green shade Peridot, which enhances the play of light and glass. It feels heavy and solid, yet looks light thanks to its transparency. The vase is not dishwasher safe: wash it by hand with lukewarm water, and dry it with a soft cloth so no limescale marks appear on the glass.

The vase is part of a collaboration between HK Living and Dutch glass artist Nienke Sikkema. Her fascination with molten glass, unexpected shapes and light forms the basis of the collection. The result recalls contemporary gemstones: heavy, clear and deliberately a little irregular. Combine the vase with the candle holders from the same range.
