A small, flat plate with a stylised face in orange, red, yellow and green, framed by a light blue rim. For bread, a slice of cake, a dessert or a few tapas. The size also makes it a handy side plate next to larger tableware.
The plate comes from Feast, the tableware line British chef Yotam Ottolenghi designed for Belgian maker Serax. The line is made from earthenware and starts from his love of colourful, shared food at the table.
Every motif in the collection is different: faces, stripes, flowers and blocks of bright colour. They are meant to be mixed, so feel free to combine this plate with other Feast designs or with plain white tableware. The brightly coloured face makes the plate lovely on a shelf or wall too.
