The Brew coffee cup by HK Living is thousands of dark speckles on a cream base, broken up by light horizontal bands, like freshly ground coffee beans. This Brew cup has no handle, so you hold it with both hands, lovely for an espresso, a cortado, a long morning coffee or a cup of tea. Inside, the cup is a soft beige, letting the busy pattern outside do the talking.
The Brew Coffee Cup is made of stoneware, robust and compact, with a glaze that develops its own pattern with every firing. That means no Brew coffee cup is exactly like another. After your coffee the Brew cup simply goes in the dishwasher, and reheating in the microwave is fine too.
The Brew cup belongs to the 70s Ceramics collection by HK Living, full of colourful glazes that hark back to the tableware of the seventies. It is lovely to combine the Brew coffee cup with Custard or Truffle, for a warm mix of brown, yellow and green.
