The Custard coffee cup by HK Living is vanilla yellow with a sandy beige top edge where dark brown drips run down, reminiscent of pudding with a layer of caramel. This Custard cup has no handle, so you hold it with both hands, lovely for an espresso, a cortado, a long morning coffee or a cup of tea. Inside, the cup is taupe like the rim, which keeps everything nicely balanced.
The Custard Coffee Cup is made of stoneware, robust and compact, with a glaze that develops its own pattern with every firing. That means no Custard coffee cup is exactly like another. After your coffee the Custard cup simply goes in the dishwasher, and reheating in the microwave is fine too.
The Custard cup belongs to the 70s Ceramics collection by HK Living, full of colourful glazes that hark back to the tableware of the seventies. It is lovely to combine the Custard coffee cup with Fierce, with the same top edge in a brighter version, or Brew for an earthy duo.
