The Zingy coffee cup by HK Living is densely speckled turquoise, moss green and rust brown, an almost mineral glaze covering the whole cup. This Zingy cup has no handle, so you hold it with both hands, lovely for an espresso, a cortado, a long morning coffee or a cup of tea. The surprise is inside: a deep wine-red interior that contrasts with the fresh blue-green.
The Zingy Coffee Cup is made of stoneware, robust and compact, with a glaze that develops its own pattern with every firing. That means no Zingy coffee cup is exactly like another. After your coffee the Zingy cup simply goes in the dishwasher, and reheating in the microwave is fine too.
The Zingy cup belongs to the 70s Ceramics collection by HK Living, full of colourful glazes that hark back to the tableware of the seventies. It is lovely to combine the Zingy coffee cup with Agave or Birthstone, for a cupboard full of sea and moss tones.
